Producción a la intemperie: plantas frutales y hortalizas:

  • Siembra directa en tierra.
  • Sistema reticular abundante.
  • Producción tardía 3 a 5 años.

Sistema mixto descubierto: hortalizas y pasifloras:

  • Siembra en camas elevadas.
  • Estructuras para pasifloras enredables.

Sistema mixto cubierto: aromáticas, hortalizas y setas:

  • Invernadero en forma de túnel para asegurar un ambiente y microclima controlado.
  • Estructuras metálicas para canastillas de hortalizas gourmet o aromáticas.
  • Producción de setas en cajas selladas.
  • Huerta vertical y sistema hidropónico horizontal.

Sistema cubierto con paredes abiertas:

  • Producción de plantas en altura como tomates, pimentones, ajíes.
  • Aprovechamiento de espacio libre sobre las camas de lombricompostaje.

The research projects are aimed at the design of smart gardens for coffee farms of less than two hectares. They are experimenting with the production of fruit, vegetable, mushroom, passionflower, aromatic species; under different production systems.
